While I'm all for fun and entertainement, I hope that the same companies are researching more practical uses for these bots. Now, let's not get carried away into Jetson land with a robo-nanny, but some sort of miniature mobile surveillance unit would be nice, no? Get the prices down for those, and you'll have yourself a steady customer base.
