You bring up an interesting point, why are these demonstration robots always moving in slow motion? you have fast CPU's so they should be fast moving, and you can't blame hydraulic either, there's plenty of industrial robots that move their arms damn fast.
So why is this one and the sony one etcetera moving in slo-mo, is that some requirement in japan to keep people feeling secure or what?

Darn cool, reminds me some how of startreck or maybe Neon Genesis Evangelion manga. Somehow I expected it to "transform" more, and waking on the rim of the wheel seems rather unstable ( won't it roll to the side?)
