The most useful thing he could do with that cat is wax on and wax off his car with it.
iptydafu @ Aug 31st 2007 9:17AM

Don't know who's scarier, the cat or the old man playing with it.. He really is barefoot isn't he?
lizajane999 @ Aug 31st 2007 12:27PM
The Japanese don't ever wear shoes in the house.
DarkAardvark @ Aug 31st 2007 6:06PM

This thing is a great companion for the elderly and senile. You don't have to worry about them not feeding it and it dying or cleaning up after it. And with the larger segment of the world's population getting older, these things will probably start popping up all over the place.
_antitrance @ Aug 31st 2007 11:43AM
Haha, oh god, it's terrifying! + The music is amusing.
giuliop @ Aug 31st 2007 11:58AM

I want to know if I'm the only one who thinks that hugging a robot is something sad.
Paul @ Aug 31st 2007 2:24PM
Now, if they could only make it bluetooth enabled so you could bring it with you and use it to answer phone calls. And then if its mouth moved when the other person talked...awesomeness!
Typhoid Mary @ Aug 31st 2007 7:14PM
Forget the cat, I want an old, gnarly, Asian dude of my very own!
maraki @ Aug 31st 2007 7:51PM
next step, replace old people with robots that look like old people.
